The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property Act, 2015 aims to provide for public procurement, and for the retention and disposal of public property in accordance with the principles of good governance, namely accountability, integrity, transparency, and value for money and to promote local industry development, sustainable procurement and sustainable development.

In order to be eligible for selection, all Suppliers/Contractors are required to be registered on the Procurement Depository. The Procurement Depository (The Depository) is an online system designed by the Office of Procurement Regulation (OPR) to manage, capture and report information as described in Sections 13, 24, 26, 29 and 58 of the Act of Parliament, namely the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property Act, 2015, as amended.
