April 3rd is a date you don't want to forget as the most anticipated event in the city of San Fernando "Mirror Image" the theme for this year's San Fernando Fashion Week will be held at the spacious and beautiful Royal Hotel in San Fernando.
Designers and models are well prepared and ready to present this year's most trending styles just in time for Easter, Spiritual Baptist Day, Mothers Day, Emancipation and Graduation season. Designers will present their all new 2016 exquisite, colourful and affordable collections which will be available for purchase at the event and after the event at the San Fernando Fashion Week Design Store located 139 Main Road Marabella. Designers showing will include Vaughn Asylum of V Wear out of St.Kitts, Frankie Hoyte of Roots Xotic in Boston,Christian Boucaud of Christian Boucaud Designs, Deisha Dare of Deisha Dare Designs, Gregory Young of Gyoung(De workshop), Johan Mohammed of African Ark, Deron Attzs of Deron Attzs Design Label.
Diversification of Trinidad and Tobago has always been the words of the SFFWTT producers over the years. Recognizing this and knowing the importance of business after the runway event the producers of SFFWTT launched it's Design Show Space Store Front and opened it’s doors for business in June, 2015 making designer pieces available to the public for purchase after the runway event. In the near future the San Fernando Fashion Week committee intends to open another Design Show Space Store Front which would make designers products more readily available to wider range of buyers.
In keeping with the promotion of sustainable businesses this year’s event will again incorporate exhibitors in the areas of art, craft, makeup, skin care, accessories and many other elements associated with fashion.
