Port of Spain, 18th June 2021: The Trinidad and Tobago Fashion Company Limited (FashionTT) launched the second edition of its LookBook, an aesthetically pleasing publication that showcases Trinidad and Tobago’s designers. The launch, which took place as an Instagram Live on Friday 18th June, was hosted by FashionTT’s General Manager, Lisa-Marie Daniel and featured guest Professor Margaret Bishop from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Daniel excitedly announced that the LookBook is now open to investment by the public through advertising space.
The June Edition of the LookBook has an assortment of collections in Lounge Wear, Resort, Corporate, Couture, Ready to Wear, Bridal and Accessories for Men, Women and Children. What’s new to this particular edition is the inclusion of ads by ANSA Bank, Pan American Life Insurance of Trinidad and Tobago and ScripJ printery. These companies have supported the LookBook through placements, and, by extension, assisted FashionTT in its goal to drive capacity building, business development and sales and export activities for the local fashion sector.
The aim of the LookBook is to present beautiful and timeless visuals of all local fashion companies to current and untapped markets and to introduce the designers behind these brands. The LookBook is only one of the many ways in which FashionTT stimulates growth and development for the local fashion sector. FashionTT also collaborates with over 164 local fashion companies annually under the umbrella of our 4 tier Value Chain Investment Programme (VCIP) in optimising key aspects within their respective Value Chains inclusive of Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Strategies, Customer Relationship Management, Obtaining Financing for Business Expansion, Costing & Pricing and Record Keeping.
“We are happy to launch the June Edition of the FashionTT LookBook. It has been such a pleasure working with our local designers to make this publication happen. We have so many creative and talented designers when it comes to attires, jewellry, masks and so much more and we hope to get the chance to showcase each and every one of them in our LookBook. We would also like to invite companies to invest in the fashion sector by investing in our LookBook via advertising placements. Join us on the journey as we take T&T’s Fashion to the global runway!” Lisa-Marie Daniel, General Manager, FashionTT.
