Port of Spain, 23rd February 2021: The Trinidad and Tobago Music Company Limited (MusicTT) has taken its Spotlight Programme to another level with Project Spotlight and is inviting everyone to be a part of the Project Spotlight EP Launch via Zoom at 8 PM on Friday 26th February 2021.
The EP Launch will be hosted by Rome and will feature all 8 Spotlight Artistes; Aaron Ifill, Aisha Noel, Alethea, DNA 868 Muzik, Juss Lizz, Leah Richards, Mahalia and Monique La Chapelle, performing their songs from the album. The live audience would have the opportunity to interact with the Spotlight artistes and special guests. The EP Launch will also be streamed on MusicTT’s YouTube channel.
MusicTT produced the eight-track EP ‘Project Spotlight’ featuring the eight (8) artistes in Cohort 3 of the Spotlight programme. The EP is a single-issue release and will be shipped to international music catalogues for sync opportunities. It will also be available to the public via various streaming platforms.
MusicTT engaged the services of titans in the industry to bring Project Spotlight to life. Darryl Gervais, one of the most sought-after songwriters in the Caribbean who has successfully contributed to albums and growing catalogues for MegaTrax, Universal Music Australia, LA Records, Netflix, to name a few, was brought on as the executive producer of ‘Project Spotlight’. The production and mixing service were done by Jhay C of HCL, one of Australia’s most successful Urban Pop producer/writers who has multiple song placements in over 400 shows globally and in the US on networks such as MTV, DISNEY, NBC, FOX, Netflix and major sports franchises ESPN, UFC, NBA, NFL and WWE. He has also had his songs featured in major films such as Hugh Jackman’s ‘Loganʼ and the ʼSimone Biles Story’.
