MusicTT partners with ChinaMan Yard to promote local music

Port of Spain, 7th February 2022: The Trinidad and Tobago Music Company Limited (MusicTT) has partnered with the ChinaMan Yard Label based in Beijing, China which is dedicated to promoting and producing Caribbean Music in China. MusicTT has launched, through the partnership, a call for submissions from artistes, producers, composers and musicians who are interested in collaborating with their counterparts in China. The deadline for the submissions is Friday 25th February, 2022 at 4 PM.

ChinaMan Yard (formerly DB Bros Records) is the first record label from China originally dedicated to reggae and dancehall. The music label aims to promote Caribbean Music in China, by producing projects with both international and local artists, promoting international artists locally and local artists internationally. ChinaMan Yard not only releases singles, EPs and LPs every year, but also spreads their own music through sound systems, tours, showcases and concerts. They have released the three first One Riddim albums ever coming out from China: Twitch Riddim, Rumors of War Riddim & Mad Luck Riddim. They have also released over 25 singles and 22 albums in the past 3 years.

ChinaMan Yard have hit the charts in multiple countries, ranking from number #5 in New-York USA (for Feel The Vibes by Zulu Bob), #11 in Hong Kong (for Music Souljahs by Apex Zero, Jackson Turner & Raddam Ras), #25 in UK (for album Rumours Of War Riddim by General Huge), #28 in Hong Kong (for album Twitch Riddim by General Huge),#47 in UK (for Greetings by Zulu Bob), #50 in UK (for Love Is The Key by Abel X), #67 in UK (for Call Me Crazy by Elijah Prophet), #98 in USA (for Summertime Love by Zulu Bob), #169 in Ireland (for Jah Light by General Huge) and more.
