Last week, FilmTT’s General Manager, Nneka Luke, was invited by the Institute of International Relations and the EU Delegation in Trinidad and Tobago to participate in a public panel discussion on ACP-EU Post-Cotonou Partnership Negotiations: Caribbean Interests, the Process and Prospects.
The Cotonou Agreement is between EU and ACP countries and formed the basis for the development of the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) between EU and CARIFORUM countries. Within the EPA is a 6-page section on Cultural Protocol III that speaks directly to and is mostly focused on audio-visual, music, and performance exchange among the EU and CARIFORUM countries.
