Port of Spain, 18th February 2021: The Trinidad and Tobago Fashion Company Limited (FashionTT), FashionTT has partnered with Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business to provide business-focused training webinars tailored for upcoming and emerging designers. This initiative will be done through the Entrepreneurial Accelerator Programme (EAP), the fourth tier of FashionTT’s flagship project, The Value Chain Investment Programme (VCIP). The first webinar, titled Competitive Advantage in the Next Normal, took place in January.
The theme for the nine (9) month programme of webinars for 2021 is Business Readiness for a Virtual World. The topics will focus on enhancing and upgrading pillars in the structure of designers’ businesses for operational development and overall growth. Some of these topics include New Product Development & commercialisation; E-commerce strategies for global markets; Intellectual Property Management; Quality in Production; Virtual Trade Show preparations; Packaging and more. Webinar sessions are scheduled on the last Saturday of every month on an online meeting platform which would be provided to those who register for the webinars. At the end of the programme, designers will receive a certificate of participation.
It’s a new time for entrepreneurs to explore innovative opportunities whilst strengthening their internal core business capabilities. The webinars will be advertised in advance on FashionTT’s various social media platforms, inclusive of the Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as in CreativeTT’s weekly newsletter.
